The Directrec DR-2000
is a perfect combination of professional features and a simple, portable
design. Its convenient button placement, easy slide switch operability
and comfortable ergonomics allow you to utilize it for hours of consecutive
use, while its durable construction ensures you'll be doing so for years
to come. Included DSS Player Pro software helps you automate, streamline,
and manage recorded files. A Directrec Configuration Tool in DSS Player
Pro allows for easy button customization and other flexible uses.

USER ID. You can register an ID directly in the DR-2000. The

HIGHLY
SENSITIVE MICROPHONE. DR-2000 uses ø10mm, highly sensitive,
built-in omni directional microphones. Microphone sensitivity can
be easily adjusted using the included DSS Player Pro software to
better adjust to various conditions including dictations or conferences. |
Features and Benefits
New and improved
microphone system reduces extraneous sounds such as wind or machine
noise created while recording, thus enabling a higher quality of sound
recording.
New design and
button location enables single-handed control without ever having to
visually check the placement of function buttons.
DR-2000 has 3 programmable
(A, B, C) buttons that can be easily customized to suit a particular
preference or recording environment.
DR-2000 can be
used as a USB microphone or USB speaker without installing a specialty
driver. In addition, a powerful built-in speaker provides hi-fidelity
acoustic playback.
DR-2000 can be
used as a remote control for the DSS Player Pro software for both direct
recording and editing recorded files on a PC.
DR-2000 can save
a recording as a file on a PC in DSS (Digital Speech Standard) format.
Two recording modes,
SP (Standard Playback) mode or LP (Long Playback) mode.
Microphone sensor
quality can be altered to better suit recording conditions and environment.
A priority level
can be set on each file recorded.
Take advantage
of the ability to insert and overwrite on an existing recording file.
Up to 16 index
marks can be set in a file.
System Sounds (beep)
are available to alert you to button operations or warn you of errors.
They can be turned on or off according to your preference.
Up to 10 users
ID's and Work Types can be registered in DSS Player Pro.
Register an ID
directly in the DR-2000 and have it become part of the created recording
files naming convention for quick and easy retrieval.
Professional Grade
USB Cable is 10x more durable (more than 20,000 operations in an Olympus
durability test) than a regular USB cable.
DR-2000 use ø10mm,
highly sensitive, built-in omni directional microphones. The microphone
sensitivity can be easily adjusted with the DSS Player to suit the purpose
of use.
DR-2000 firmware
can be easily updated to provide additional features or product enhancement.
Slide Switch Operation
provides a quiet and easy user experience, improved comfort and increased

In addition to
the 3 programmable buttons, additional functionality can be supported
by combining any button on the DR-2000 using the Shift or Ctrl keys
on a PC keyboard. This function is supported by the included DSS Player
