Built-in stereo microphones for brilliant audio recording
The Zoom Q3 has two condenser microphones onboard, engineered in an X/Y pattern for excellent imaging. Arranged with the right and left microphones on the same axis, this design ensures that the microphones are always an equal distance from the sound source for perfect capture, without phase issues. The result is a great sounding recording with natural depth and highly accurate imaging every time... all at the touch of a Q3 button.

Excellent video quality with a large screen for on-the-go viewing
You'll be amazed by the quality of the videos you capture with the Zoom Q3. This mighty little gadget can capture MPEG-4 SP videos at 640 x 480 resolution. Cooler yet, it has a 2.4" LCD screen with a 320 x 240 viewing resolution, so you can check out the videos you just captured, or load up your card for on-the-go watching of your favorite newly created flicks. There's even a built-in speaker and a jack for your headphones, so you're 100% ready for playback.

The Q3 also simplifies the process of transferring your videos to a computer and sharing them with others. A short USB 2.0 cable is built into the Q3, so you'll never have to go digging for a cable. Mac and Windows compatible HandyShare software is included

The user can also put the Q3 into audio-only recording mode and capture high-resolution audio at 96 kHz 24-bit. The Q3's LCD display features bright and accurate audio meters (in both audio and video modes) so you can easily make sure your levels aren't clipping. You can also turn on the Q3's "Auto Record Level" feature which adjusts the microphone sensitivity automatically for optimum results.
