The VCS Mobile APP is developed and published by Saul Mineroff Electronics, Inc. (SME), a United States Corporation. SME respects your privacy rights and recognizes the importance of protecting information, if any, collected about you. This Privacy Policy defines how SME collects and uses personal and non-personal information in relation to the application ("app") VCS Client. BY INSTALLING, USING OR OTHERWISE ACCESSING the VCS Mobile APP, YOU AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY, PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL, USE OR OTHERWISE ACCESS VCS Client. SME reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at reasonable times, therefore please review it frequently. If SME makes material or significant changes to this Privacy Policy, SME will notify you by means of a notice within the VCS Client app. Your continued use of VCS Client will signify your acceptance of the changes to this Privacy Policy. Personal Data: SME does not collect or use any personal data that may be used to identify or contact you, without your consent. SME does not collect or use names, passwords, email addresses, photos, video, account names, account numbers or other information that would enable SME to identify you or the systems which this app connects to. If the app uses third party services for sharing Content generated using this app, the app would access your basic data from such third party services needed for the authentication, content sharing or other features provided by the third parties, however, the app would not collect or use any personal data. If you use our App, we may also collect the following information: Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device's storage, camera and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings. Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the app. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communications, you may turn them off in your device's settings. This app has the ability, at your discretion, to use the device's onboard camera to send live video to an SME server which you specify in the app’s configuration settings. This video may pass through several networks, secure or not secure. VCS Client gives you the option to send the video encrypted, as long as the receiver on the other end is set to receive encrypted transmission. It is allowed, but not advisable, to use this app without encrypted transmission. Non-personal data: SME may use tools or third party analytical software to collect and use certain non-personal data that does not enable SME to identify you. The types of non-personal data SME may collect and use include, but are not limited to: (i) mobile device type; (ii) mobile device software version; (iii) geographical data no more accurate than metropolitan areas; (iv) total time of app usage and usage of filters; (v) other non-personal app data as reasonably required by SME to enhance its features. SME may use the collected data for purposes of analyzing usage of the app, managing and providing VCS Client and to further develop SME's services and products. Data Retention: SME retains the information collected pursuant to this Privacy Policy. If the collected information is no longer needed for purposes specified in this Privacy Policy, SME shall delete all aforementioned information in its possession. SMS / Text Message Notifications: When you contact Saul Mineroff Electronics, Inc. (SME) support by telephone regarding the VCS Platform and verbally consent during that call, SME may send you transactional customer-care text messages — such as your support ticket number and confirmation that a specialist will follow up — to the mobile number you provide. These are support notifications only; SME does not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program. Message frequency varies based on your support activity. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. All other data categories referenced in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Your mobile number and SMS opt-in consent are collected directly by SME during your support call; no third party is involved in collecting that consent. Mobile opt-in information is used solely to deliver the support notifications you requested. |
